We can preserve the forest in many ways. Firstly, we have to educate  and aware the people about the importance and advantages of the forest.  Afforestation and reforestation programmes should be run all over the country. The people who clear the jungle for agriculture and settlement should be discouraged and strictly punished. We can preserve our forest by establishing many wild life reserves and national parks. Establishment of the community forest should be given high priority and it should be encouraged.  Selling of firewood and timber should be banned to preserve it.
