Ways of Learning
It is a fact that our mind is a fertile land where we can sow the seeds of knowledge. We are farmers to cultivate our minds; it' means that we have to be responsible to learn. We can cultivate our minds in many ways such as by reading books, through travelling to places, from teachers and parents, from the society and observing the current affairs.
We can cultivate our mind by reading books, newspapers, magazines, journals and so on. We can get knowledge of different subjects and disciplines. We can cultivate our minds by languages, culture, literature, philosophy, mathematics, science, history and so on and so forth. I realize that cultivation of our minds by reading is the best way for all the educated people. We can achieve knowledge living in our rooms. We do not need to travel long distances to learn.
Visiting places is one of the ways of learning. We can learn many things by visiting different places. All the people do not read; for example, the illiterate. They can cultivate their minds by visiting places. Travelling to various places widens our feelings and concepts: Furthermore, we feel pleasure while we are visiting places. Thus, we can cultivate our minds happily by travelling to places of interest.
Our parents and teachers are our guides to lead us to a prosperous life. We can learn many things from them. They teach us how•to be good people. We learn discipline, obedience, honesty feeling to complete. duties, civilization etc. from our parents. Similarly, we learn how to adjust in the society. Our parents teach us the significance of our social values-and norms Similarly, our teachers teach us various subjects and disciplines. thus, we learn many things from our parents and teachers.
By deeply observing current affairs, we can cultivate our minds. We can learn what is happening in the present. We have to adjust ourselves in the present situation. We can see many events in our society, They certainly boost up our minds. We can compare our social values and norms, and classify them into good and bad. We can plan how to minimize social evils and dead traditions. By observing the events related to them, we can learn many things about our society.
At last, we can cultivate our minds especially in two ways. They are: by reading and through experience. We cannot ignore both of them either. Both ways are equally important to cultivate our minds in a good way.
